SYNESTHETIC DINNER


COLLABORATION WITH KASIA LUKASZUK AND IHUN JO



"SYNESTHETIC DINNER" IS AN INTERACTIVE INSTALLATION, WHICH USES OBJECT AND MOTION DETECTION TO ADD AN IMMERSIVE LAYER ON TOP OF A DINING EXPERIENCE.


Drawing inspiration from the synesthetic scene in Ratatouille, our project aimed to create a multisensory experience unlike any other. The experience is based off the choice of 4 different food items by the user that trigger a set of sounds and motion visuals connected to each ingredient by synesthesia, thus creating an unique multisensory (olfactory, visual, auditive, tactile and gustative) composition.
